Safety for Field Team Members is One of Jobba’s Top Priorities

If you didn’t already know, June is the United State’s National Safety Month. The National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries report shows that 108 roofing contractors died due to a workplace injury in 2020. Although this is a decrease from 2019, it still confirms that roofing is one of the most dangerous professions. Due to the hazardous nature of roofing, safety awareness and programs are critical.

At Jobba Trade Technologies, safety is a top priority within our Jobba application.

In Jobba, there are built-in safety checklists. These checklists are easy to incorporate into current safety programs and initiatives. The safety checklists enable the ability to confirm job safety is performed and completed before starting every work order.

Jobba’s safety checklists are customizable based on the work type performed. For example, a Service Safety Checklist can differ from an Inspections Safety Checklist. Due to the customizable abilities, the lists can be mandatory to complete before starting a job and to document and record for proper retention. Some examples of the checklists are: Check Decking, Check Openings, Ladder Area, Fall Protection, and First Aid Kit.

At the bottom of every safety checklist in Jobba is a final, overall task to ensure safety. The user can also add pictures and comments. The last step is for the user to identify themselves and sign their names as proof they accurately completed the safety checklist. Although Jobba employees are not at the job sites or on the roof, they are still trying to ensure the safety of the field team members. Curious to see how Jobba keeps your data safe?
